In a nutshell

Hannah has had a strong passion for music from a very early age. As a young girl she performed in several local & interstate Theatre productions including Little Cossette’ in Les Miserable 1995 & Mary Magdalene in ‘Jesus Christ Super Star’ 1999. At the age of 8 she begged her mum to let her play violin. Fortunately, her mum supported this idea & to this day she has enjoyed performing, collaborating & writing music. Over the last 10 years her love for singing & strings has given her many wonderful opportunities in the festival circuit performing at numerous venue’s throughout Australia such as:  Woodford Folk Festival/ Melbourne Fringe Festival/ Qld Poetry Festival/ Brisbane Cabaret Festival/ The Valley Fiesta & the list is ongoing... Hannah has had the pleasure of writing, recording & producing 2 Albums & 3 E.P’s as well as featuring as a session violinist on several other recordings. Her Love for music is a huge part of her life & she loves to be able to share this with other musicians. Hannah is honored to be surrounded in such a Beautiful environment at ‘Simply for Strings’ being able to help people, making sure that everyone receives the right care their instruments! 

Dream Day:
Awaken to a yummy breaky… rehearse with a band, relax, swim, lunch with champagne then record throughout the evening.

One of many favorite Albums: Nick Drake – Made to love Magic.

If not working @ SFS:
I would be touring the world, performing on various stages and in theatre's.

Holiday destination:
'The Shack' It's my Nan & Pop's fishing shack on a private beach. They bought it when my mum was a little girl, & it's where we grew up . There's no-one there & you need a generator, but when we sit on the front steps & the tide comes in, our feet are in the sea.

Little known fact:
I love musicals & documentaries.

Best book:
'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho; 'Siddhartha' by Hermann Hesse.

Favourite clothing:
Boots & Belts.

Best gift:
My Great Grandfathers Violin.
