Image #1 – Arioso

The Arioso is a fully hand-carved instrument suited to the beginner or continuing player. A solid spruce top, inlaid purfling, solid maple sides & neck, and ebony fittings all combine to make this an excellent student instrument.

The Arioso has a warm and clear tone and a semi-gloss varnish.

Henry plays the Arioso cello and is a member of the QYO Junior String Ensemble. Clothing by e3-M.

Image #2 – Arioso II

The Arioso II is a beautiful handmade instrument suitable for the intermediate to advancing student.

Careful varnish application gives a clean and precise look that brings out the beauty of the wood. Enhanced arching and carefully selected maple & spruce gives a warm, powerful sound.

Andrew plays the Arioso II viola and is a member of the QYO2.

The Concerto is an excellent choice for the advancing student or player.

It has a large, clear and sonorous tone with beautifully shaded, rich varnish.

Choice tonewoods of the highest standards are carefully crafted, nicely finished and then adjusted in our own workshop to our specifications.

The Allegro has a dark, mellow and clear tone with plenty of projection.

The instruments feature beautifully figured maple and spruce and hand-applied, antiqued varnish for an attractive finish.

Rebekah holds the BAM Classic III case and Kaitlyn plays the Allegro violin – both are members of the QYO Junior String Ensemble. Clothing by e3-M.

The Monteverdi is an exceptional quality instrument with a rich tonal palette ranging from full, dark basses to sweet, singing trebles.

Its quick response and strong projection make it an excellent choice for the most discerning player.
