The Pirastro Tonica Violin Set E-Gold Label / D-Aluminum is an exciting variation of the popular Tonica range, pairing Pirastro’s renowned synthetic core strings with a Gold Label E string for enhanced tonal character.
The Gold Label E delivers a rich overtone spectrum, a strong yet rounded sound and a comfortable playing feel, while offering excellent durability. Combined with the warm, easy-playing D aluminum string, this set provides a balanced, responsive feel with a warm overall character and pleasant string tension.
Like all Tonica strings, the synthetic core produces a lively, open and direct sound with quick response, smooth string crossings and excellent tuning stability. Medium tension makes the set suitable for a wide variety of violins, while the synthetic construction is largely unaffected by changes in temperature and humidity.
